Well...I was going to go really high but maybe I should lower it by the looks of the comments. I'll lower my orginal guess but still go high with 10,000 pounds.
well, lets make the guess of 62,500 lbs with the following assumption. *this would be one of the 3 meals served of the total 750,000 meals created each day. i.e. equaling 250,000 meals needed containing pasta. Thus 1 lb of pasta serves approx. 4 people, with the following equation of 250,000 / 4 = 62,500 lbs of pasta needed. The Tiano's
oops my mistake - only 75,000 meals per day, thus the following equation. 25,000 / 4 = 6,250 lbs of pasta needed to create the 25,000 meals for either lunch or dinner. **Final guess 6,250 lbs needed. The Tiano's
Pasta equals food. According to the book I'm reading (A Framework for Understanding Poverty), food equals love to those living in poverty. This translate to you speaking a language of love that the people you are reaching out to understand. As you packaged the pasta and as you continue by serving you are Christ's love to the people.
Derek's guess is about 1800 pounds.
